Celebrating 13 Years of Organic Leadership
With over fifteen acres of certified organic vegetable, herb, and greenhouse prouduction north of Decorah, Iowa, Rock Spring Farm has provided produce year-round to natural food stores, groceries, and wholesale distributors in Minnesota and Iowa since 1999. One of the first organic farms in the Upper Midwest to provide fresh vegetables year-round, Rock Spring Farm is often considered to be a model for business, production, and marketing.
Putting Down a Rutabaga
After 13 years of serving our retail customers through the Rock Spring Farm CSA, we delivered our last CSA box in March of 2012, so that we could focus Rock Sping Farm's collective energy on wholesale production, and so that farmer Chris Blanchard could put more effort into the education and outreach that has always been an important part of the Rock Spring Farm mission.
